Ambrolitin syrup is used to relieve coughing and facilitate expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with the formation of thick mucus in the airways.
Active ingredient: Each 5 ml of syrup contains 15 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride.
Other ingredients: Sorbitol (E420), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, raspberry liquid essence, purified water.
Ambrolitin syrup contains the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride. It helps to thin the thick mucus in the bronchi, which forms during various respiratory tract diseases. This facilitates mucus clearance, relieves coughing, and improves breathing. It is used to ease coughing and expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with thick mucus in the airways.

The safety of ambroxol during pregnancy has not been established, therefore it is not recommended during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.
Ambroxol passes into breast milk. Although adverse effects on the infant are not expected, the use of this medication is not recommended during breastfeeding.
There are no known data indicating any effect of Ambrolitin on the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Always take Ambrolitin exactly as described in this leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Ambrolitin is taken orally during meals.
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml three times a day for the first 2–3 days. Afterwards, the dose can be reduced to 10 ml twice a day.
Children 6–12 years: 5 ml two to three times a day.
Children 2–6 years: 2.5 ml three times a day.
Elderly patients: The same dosage as for adults.
Patients with liver or kidney impairment: Half the adult dose is recommended.
Do not use this medication for more than 5 days without medical advice. If you think the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Do not freeze!
Shelf life after opening the bottle: 1 (one) month.
